UPDATE - 04/26/18:

Thanks for watching this video Websites: Click these links for more of me My Channe.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Link's shoulders to look really broken (MMD models).

UPDATE - 04/24/18:
  • All Links are now compatible with MMD motion and pose data.
  • Changed the way Link's morphs work.
  • Added new eye morphs.

UPDATE - 10/21/17:

Wind Waker Randomizer Tracker

  • Now includes models in .xps, fbx, and .blend formats (all for basic Link model only). Also, I've added three new versions of Link with his Triforce Heroes hair colors.

Link in the toon style of games like Wind Waker and Minish Cap. This set includes Link, his Four Swordclones, and Dark Link. Link has many facial morphs, using the same ones as in the original game. His hair and hat all have physics. Some pose data for his hands are included.
I ripped these models from the Nintendo Gamecube game The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The rigging had to be done from scratch and the texture were edited to make the eyes work in MMD.
The Legend of Zelda and all related characters, settings, objects, etc. belong to Nintendo.

The download can be found on the right under 'Add to Favorites' while using a web browser. You will not be able to see the download link while using the DeviantArt mobile app.
Thank you and enjoy!
It looks like shadow link wants to play on the game to.
I believe the randomizer just changes where certain items and the like are found in-game. Anything else would require a different sort modding and I doubt this would work since I've modified it a bit from how Link's model works in Wind Waker. The textures might work, though.
No the option exists, I added a lucario model to my wind waker randomizer, it has a model changer feature. I was kinda hoping this model could be added to the format too. here's some proof if ya need it www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vwyFa…
Anyways, if you can rework this into the original GameCube model format with the dark link textures and models, you'd be able to chose dark toon link as a game model, I mean I can change his outfit color but I cant change his eyes or anything. If you can and end up doing that, please could ya share the link? 'no pun intended'
Just downloaded! I do have a question though, is it alright if I edit one of the models to look like Shadow Link from the mangas?
Sure, you can edit any of my models that you'd like.
Thanks! I tried to base it on Dark Link's look in Ocarina of Time.
OMG!!! THESE ARE SO MUCH MORE BETTER WITHOUT THE GLITCHING ARMS!!! AMAZING WORK AS AlWAYS!!! Just one issue... when we recoloring the model in the textures, only the bottom of the Tunic and the arms didn't change color... they still stayed their original color.. do you know any way we could fix that? Thanks!
Awesome, I'm glad you like them!
If you're editing the Triforce Heroes versions of Link (Specifically the green one), they use two textures, the usual texture named 'linkss12' and another one named 'link_th_green.' You'll have to edit both textures to change all of Link's tunic. In other words, you need to edit both sets of clothes textures that share the same base colors.
Thank you so much! We will definitely try it! Hopefully we will see more Mario, Wind Waker, and more amazing work from you soon!
Great work as usual! I can't wait for the rest! Like King Daphnes! Or the others!
Don't worry, I'll be updating Tetra and Linebeck to work with motion data soon.
I have worked on some commissions involving Godzilla, but I haven't really ported any myself.
Imagine these four guys killing Ganondorf together! - Four swords!
When are you going to get back to the wind waker models?
I'm actually not sure! I still have many I want to do, but I sort of have to cycle through a bunch of other projects before I can get back to them.
I was trying to import this into unity for use on VRChat and I cant get the pupils working
The Toon characters use UV editing for moving the eyes. I don't know for sure, but UVChat likely doesn't support it.
I would have used bones for the eyes, but it just doesn't work with this kind of model.
I'll update his bones once I get back to making more Zelda models.
BUG Purple just has too blobs on his back when moved in z axis? I just wanted to move him backward but two spikes just formed on his back so he's basically unusable.
That's odd! I'll try and fix it when I can.
In the meantime, you can easily edit one of the other Links to use the purple textures. I know Green Link works fine.
I'm not a huge Toon Link fan, but great job anyway!

Game Description & Reviews:

OverviewThe first entry in the Zelda franchise for the GameCube, sporting a distinctive cel-shaded graphics style. It built upon the mechanics of Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask and featured an oceanic setting emphasizing exploration and discovery.

One of the best Zelda games with an amazing art style. Link, our hero, is not on a quest to save te kingdom or the princess, but to rescue his little sister, who was captured by a giant bird. With pirates, raging dragons, and crazy wind gods, the Wind Waker is the most memorable games on the GC console.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is an action-adventure game and the tenth installment in The Legend of Zelda series. It was released for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan on December 13, 2002, in North America on March 24, 2003, in Europe on May 2, 2003, and in Australia on May 7, 2003. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS is the direct sequel to The Wind Waker.

The game is set on a group of islands in a vast sea, first for the series. The player controls Link, the protagonist of the Zelda series. He struggles against his nemesis, Ganondorf, for control of a sacred relic known as the Triforce. Link spends a large portion of the game sailing, traveling between islands, and traversing through dungeons and temples to gain the power necessary to defeat Ganondorf. He also spends time trying to find his little sister.

The Wind Waker follows in the footsteps of Ocarina of Time and its sequel Majora's Mask, retaining the basic gameplay and control system from the two Nintendo 64 titles. A heavy emphasis is placed on using and controlling wind with a baton called the Wind Waker, which aids sailing and floating in air.[3][4][5][6] Controversial during development for its use of cel shading graphics and younger Link character, The Wind Waker received acclaim on release and is one of the Nintendo GameCube's most popular games.

Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker's cel-shaded graphics is one of the most divisive topics in gaming, with one camp claiming that the kiddie-oriented graphics are ruining the franchise while the other praises the fresh, vibrant artistic style that breathes new life to the aging (at that time) franchise.

Outside of the 2 sides of the consensus about the graphics mentioned above, I won't bother talking about the visuals because that would be missing the point: regardless of whether you like the bold, fresh new artistic style or loathe the kiddie-oriented graphics, it still doesn't negate the fact that behind said visuals is one of the most expansive, immersive, and enjoyable action RPGs made by the big N. Play it now if you're looking for something that will grab your gaming tastes by the cojones and keep it occupied for weeks on end.

When The Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker was announced and revealed to feature a rather strange cartoon style to their visuals, fans were left scratching their heads to whether they should end up purchasing the new art turn. When it was released however it quickly became a popular addition to the series. In fact it inspired future games to add further intelligence to a variety of elements, as the Wind Waker not only featured amzing art and sound but also smart gameplay - such as items having more uses and temple puzzles to perplex and challenge.
A new link is the hero this time around, in a Hyrule bound together by vast oceans. Link has to use the wind to his advantage as he sales off in set of new islands in the new area to explore. Ganondorf has return Zelda - but not in ways you might think casual to the franchise.
Incorporating new techniques, sound, items, adventures, gameplay, intelligence, art styles and various other achievements - the Wind Waker makes for some tough and fun adventures with the new characters and worlds - link still doesn't talk, but that's no negative to the story. What makes it even more entertaining is the comedy and plain fun that comes with the new visuals, It's unlike any other game of the series and you'll love every minute of it!

This game is a great puzzle game with action and adventure. It took a 1 half our download for me, but worth it. I have played all the Zelda games and this and OoT Are the 2 best. It is the same graphics from the gamecube version and can never be beat. Welldone.
